Winter Update

The Cliff Club is open and we look forward to your next visit.

At Snowbird, our guiding principle is the health and safety of our employees, guests and local community. We are committed to maintaining our operations responsibly and have developed Operation Stay Safe in response to COVID-19. The policies are provided with guidance and knowledge from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD) and the State of Utah.

Operation Stay Safe includes all of the actions we are taking to prioritize the wellbeing of our guests, employees and community for the duration of the season. As this is a dynamic situation, we will be frequently adjusting our safety policies and operations to protect our employees and guests.

Currently, Snowbird is not requiring masks while riding the Tram, or when inside buildings. Employees are required to be vaccinated, and to stay home if they are sick. Exceptions have been allowed on a case by case basis. These employees agree to have periodic Covid testing. Our mask policy is monitored as changes in recommendations are made by health officials and may be adjusted if safety measures are required.

2021-22 Season Key points

  1. Masks are only required on UTA buses and RideShare vans + Canyon Transportation vans
  2. Loading every seat on chairlifts
  3. No ghost mazes
  4. Spa access is currently by appointment only. All guests entering the Spa must book a time slot and sign a waiver in advance. We recommend booking your time well in advance of your arrival date. To learn more and sign your waiver please visit this page.
